It’s called dance theatre because it’s based on the poetic world of Pina Bausch, the great german choreographer who revolutionized the languages of theatre, suggesting a path of discovery of the body without any walls between movement, use of the voice, dance, word, breath, action, look. This path consists of technical lessons of ballet, contemporary dance, Laban method, release, contact improvisation, vocal techniques, anatomy applied to dance, Feldenkrais and of theoretical and aesthetical lessons (history and aesthetics of dance, music, visual arts and theatre). Besides the fundamental lessons, the students are encouraged to show their own creativity and to develop it with the helping of the Collettivo Clochart’s artists.
